Food, music and DVDs.

It's been an interesting few days.

Spent the weekend in Penang for the Penang Island Jazz Festival. I didn't go in with any expectation of how things were going to be, but I was completely floored by how awesome the acts were. Adibah Noor blew me away with her performance, while being able to watch Steve Hackett was one of those once-in-a-lifetime events.

There was also the Penang food. It was heavenly. And that is all there is to that.

Also bought me some DVD boxsets. Got me the first two seasons of Rome and Deadwood. This should tide me over until I have the rest The Wire.

As a result of this, my wallet is hurt. Bad. It's critically wounded. In need of an intervention. A resuscitation. A resurrection. It needs more money.

So it looks like I'll be spending the next week or two eating cup noodles and watching my dvds.

But you know what? It doesn't seem too bad at this point. I just could be a little happy.
