Elephant and the Ant.

Motorcyclists.

Every other day there's something on TV or in the papers telling me that I should watch out for them.

Make sure I don't graze them with my car. Keep an eye out so I don't hit them. Be a responsible driver and help ensure that these people live another day to continue their maniacal rempit-ish ways.

Ugh.

I refuse to believe that is the way to maintain order on the road or improve road safety.

What needs to happen is that motorcyclists need to be told that they are the equivalent of the skinny guy who gets picked last on the playground that are the roads of KL (or anywhere for that matter).

Nobody wants you on their team because you can't do anything much but piss everybody else off.

It doesn't matter if you're on a kapcai or a Harley. Attempt to go one on one with a Kancil, and you lose.

Kancil gets a dent. You get a concussion.

It's only common sense to watch out for the big guy. I mean, you don't go into a herd of elephants and expect them to worry about you, do you?

So please. For my sanity, and your safety, if you're on a bike remember that cars own your ass.
